From the entrance, you can access the cash register and merchandise sales. However, the venue does not have elevators. Therefore the Pop-up Book Shop, Pop-up Exhibition, and KG+ SELECT exhibitions are only accessible via stairs. Thank you for your understanding.

There is a wheelchair-friendly ramp located approximately 40 meters south of the Takakura-dori main entrance. You can enter the annex from the main entrance. However, the second floor of the exhibition is accessible only via stairs.

There is a dedicated wheelchair entrance located to the left of the main entrance. However, you will need to be guided by a staff member. There is also an elevator to the 2nd-floor venue, which people with walking difficulties and pushchairs can also use.

There is a high step at the exhibition space entrance in the Chikuin-no-Ma Room, making it difficult for wheelchairs to enter. However, the step at the Kurogura is lower, so wheelchairs can enter if the on-site staff can assist. Please make sure to give advance notice if in need of assistance.

The exhibition is on the first through third floors. There are two stone steps from the Kenninji temple grounds to the Ryosokuin reception desk, which will require you to lift your wheelchair up. As the exhibition hall is divided into tatami mats and corridors, you will have to look inside from the entrance. We are very sorry, but even though the KYOTOGRAPHIE Map has a "wheelchair accessible" sign on it, most of the exhibition is not accessible by wheelchair. You can use the elevator at the Biwako Sosui Memorial Museum to access the underground exhibition site. Please ask at the KYOTOGRAPHIE reception desk for a staff member to guide you.
